With over 20 years of experience, Keith has worked as an Assistant County Attorney prosecuting child abuse and neglect in Schenectady County Family Court, an Assistant District Attorney prosecuting major crimes in County Court, and as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York representing the state in Supreme Court and Federal Court. 

 

Currently, Keith serves as a Court Attorney Referee for the Fourth Judicial District and has worked for the New York State Court System for over 11 years. Keith's legal career has given him a comprehensive understanding of the judicial system, from multiple vantage points providing valuable insight and experience, which makes Keith uniquely qualified to serve as Rotterdam Town Justice.

 

Rotterdam Town Court is the busiest Justice Court in Schenectady County and in the state. Keith has the qualifications and  experience to manage the Court's workload and process cases fairly and efficiently. Keith believes in equal treatment under the law, treating all litigants with respect and dignity regardless of their race, sex, color, creed, station in life, or political party. 

 

Beyond his professional life, Keith is a husband and devoted father and stepfather to four children. Keith formerly served the Town of Rotterdam on its Board of Ethics. Keith has been a volunteer and coach for the Rotterdam Recreational Soccer Program and Rotterdam Carman Little League. Keith is also active in the Schalmont School Community.
